Marantz marries classic sound and build quality with modern sound and style to deliver two products for the 21st century audiophile: the Marantz Model 30 Integrated Amplifier and SACD 30n SACD Player and Network Audio Streamer.
Advanced aesthetics, the latest digital audio features and class-leading sound combine to deliver a familiar yet entirely new Marantz listening experience, ideal for audio enthusiasts who value values and work.
The Marantz products showcase a new industrial design language, which borrows signature elements from the legendary Marantz products of the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Designed, tuned and meticulously manufactured in Shirakawa, Japan, the components continue the legacy of classic products such as the Audio Consolate, Model 2250 and Model 9 amplifiers, while the look and feel seems to date true.
The Model 30 and SACD 30n also refine the classic Marantz sound, led by Marantz Sound Masters, to deliver a warmer character, the natural state of the instruments, and a wide and deep soundstage with a smooth presentation of vocals is. This is done not only by selecting high-quality components, but to ensure that those components work together in harmony. Listening is as important as measuring every bit - because music matters.
There is also serious science; Marantz Music Mastering HD brings significant digital audio conversion and processing-in-house, with the Marantz Engineering team fully controlling how PCM and DSD digital audio is handled by SACD 30n for optimal results.
There is an all-analog affair inside the Marantz Model 30, which consists of a completely discrete two-stage construction with independent power supplies for both the pre-amplifier and the power amplifier. The preamplifier consists of a specially designed power supply circuit, which provides a stable supply that is unaffected by fluctuations in demands from the power amplifier.
It further protects the accuracy of sound with an oversized toroidal transformer, which is specifically dedicated to the pramp, as well as a double shielded steel case fitted around the transformer to reduce leakage flux.
The power amplifier phase power supply distributes the high current to the switching mode amplifier, giving maximum control over any connected speakers. It must maintain signal purity even in front of the most challenging music pieces.
The Model 30 includes six audio inputs, including a moving coil and moving magnet phono stage, with Marantz's own Music Premium Phono EQ circuit and HDAM proprietary technology to enhance performance. The impedance selector lets you select three settings - MC Low (33 ohm), MC Mid (100 ohm) or MC High (390 ohm) - to further optimize sound performance. There is also a headphone output.
The Marantz SACD 30n uses the proprietary SACDM-3L transport mechanism, which is designed to give the best possible performance when playing only SACDs and CDs.
The HEOS built-in platform gives you access to high bitrate files from music streaming services such as Amazon Music HD and Tidal, as well as multi-room functionality, while USB-DAC and built-in pre-amplifiers. In voice control, Apple comes courtesy of Siri, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant Voice Assistant.
Marantz's musical mustering software also allows optimal digital audio conversion, while the headphone amplifier boasts an adjustable gain to play all possible headphones, regardless of impedance.
The Marantz Model 30 Integrated Amplifier (€ 3000 / £ 2700) and SACD 30n Network Audio Streamer and SACD Player (€ 3000 / £ 2700) are now available at select authorized retailers.
